Information We Collect

We collect: name, email, phone, mailing address, payment information (via Stripe), tax identification (W-9 for consignors), bid/purchase history, item photos and descriptions, and messages sent through the Platform. We also collect IP address, browser type, and pages visited automatically.

How We Use It

We use your information to operate the auction platform, process payments via Stripe Connect, communicate about your account, generate tax documents (1099-NEC), improve the Platform, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising.

Who We Share With (Sub-Processors)

We use the vendors below to operate the Platform. Each receives only the data needed for its stated purpose, is bound by a data-processing agreement, and is located in the United States unless otherwise noted. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share data for third-party marketing.

Data Retention

Account and transaction data retained for 7 years (tax/legal compliance). Server logs retained for 90 days. Item photos retained indefinitely for archive.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

Right to Know: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Use the "Download my data" button in your Account tab, or email info@uscollectiblesne.com.
Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal data. Use the "Delete my account" button in your Account tab to submit a request. We will process within 30 days.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Sign in to your account and visit your Account tab to use the in-app data export or deletion buttons. If you cannot access your account, email info@uscollectiblesne.com with subject "CCPA Request."

Security

We use TLS encryption, row-level database security, and secure cloud infrastructure in the United States. No system is 100% secure; we will notify you of any data breach as required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (access_token, refresh_token) and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use Stripe to process payments. To help prevent fraud, Stripe's script runs on our pages and may set its own cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) and collect device and browsing information, as described in Stripe's privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy).

We count page visits with privacy-friendly, cookie-free aggregate analytics (Vercel Web Analytics). It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you across other sites.
